American River 50 - 2007

Here I am running in to the finish line. I didn't realize that I was being chased at the time, but after 50 miles I was still feeling pretty strong. Notice that knee valgus though? I'm really wondering about gluteal fatigue after running these distances.
There is a cool article from a guy at Harvard that wondered if humans (bipedals) use gluteus maximus as a tail. Humans are the only bipedal runners without a tail. I'll post that article soon.

Mullingar, Ireland, Solo Marathon

This was a fun run along the royal canal, just outside the house of Carryl's Cousin's home. Fantastic run!

The beginning of a fun Helen Klein 50 mile race. I'm all ready, and looking forward to the day ahead.
